SERVICES   |  BENEFITS

The new corporate philanthropy is strategic. It is an extension of the company’s soul made manifest. By strategically connecting company and cause, ORENDA helps clients discover the emotional profit center of their business and create meaningful connections between people and the places they work.

Services

We customize our approach to meet each client’s unique situation. Services include, but are not limited to:

Company Assessment. We gather information about your company, leaders, employees, and customers and match you with a cause that is relevant to your business type, purpose and mission.

Charity Evaluation. Before we suggest potential partners, we research the charities to ensure they are administered responsibly and that they are willing to show up in a true corporate-cause partnership

Program Development. We design and manage sustainable employee programs that are consistent with your company’s purpose and aligned with your corporate structure.

Communication Strategy. We develop an effective communication strategy to regularly inform and inspire employees, customers, community members, and other company stakeholders about your philanthropic program.

Event Planning. We assist with the planning and management of inspiring events related to your philanthropic program.

Program Integration. We identify and coach an in-house “champion” for your program, and equip them with the tools to ensure the long term sustainability of your program.

“Don’t think this is some kind of charitable thing where you will get rewarded in heaven. You get rewarded right away because you’ll be known as a company that is conscious of its social responsibility; you’ll attract better quality employees; your stock will sell at a higher multiple, and all sorts of good things will come of it.”

“Do socially responsible companies perform better financially? The answer has long been the statistical Holy Grail- eagerly sought, ever out of reach. I’m here to announce that search is over. The evidence is in. This is the finding of two meta studies- 30 years and 112 studies later, it’s been proven. Corporate Social Responsibility does go hand in hand with financial out-performance.”

“ People are looking for hope and engagement. Hope that things can be better, for them and for the world, and engagement in some way in making things better. A “cause” that is relevant to the business has the potential to be binding and animating, creating an alignment between the company and the employees.”

“When corporations support the right causes in the right ways – when they get the where and the how right- they set in motion a virtuous cycle... both the corporations and the causes they support reap important benefits.”
